ISO 45001: Health and Safety Management System

What is ISO 45001?

ISO 45001 is the international standard for workplace Health and Safety Management Systems. ISO 45001 helps organisations to manage their health and safety practices so that all employees can remain safe and accident-free. It helps you to continually review and refine the way you protect your employees from accidents or illnesses by providing a framework to improve employee safety, reduce workplace risks and create better, safer working conditions. ISO 45001 will help your organisation manage the risks within the workplace by identifying potential hazards and implementing strategies to avoid or minimise the chances of them occurring.

Why is it Important?

ISO 45001 helps organisations reduce the burden of  compliance by providing a framework to improve employee safety, reduce workplace risks and create better, safer working conditions, all over the world. All aspects of Health and Safety at work are vital to implement and in having a safe environment for your employees you can avoid accidents and injuries. Non-Compliance with health and safety regulations can be disastrous for any company through damaged reputation, loss of clients, hefty fines and much more.
